A paediatric clinic wanted to reduce the anxiety a mother experiences during their visits. To reduce a mother's anxiety, you need their children to be anxiety free.

This sounded like a design solution. The real problem was that every element of the environment had been designed to communicate with adults, not with the child in the room.

We communicated visuals from a child's eye level. Layout, sensory design, and clinical process were rebuilt around the child's emotional experience. Vaccines were administered in the play area at the centre of the lobby, not in a separate clinical room.

Word of mouth became the primary growth channel. Customers who came through referral showed measurably higher retention than those acquired through paid channels.
